Village Hall for Hire in Ashford-in-the-Water

A warm welcome to the Ashford War Memorial Institute (also known as the Village Hall), the community hub serving local residents as well as the many visitors who come to enjoy time in our beautiful part of the country.

The Institute is run by a committee of volunteers drawn from local community, dedicated to promoting the benefits of a vibrant and active village hub. The Institute was established as a Working Men’s Club in 1931 for the benefit of all Ashford residents. If you live locally, you may wish to join one of our regular groups and classes or consider supporting the work of the committee to help us deliver even more.

For our visitors, we hope you find time to enjoy some of the special events happening throughout the year or take advantage of some of the village activities. Please visit What’s On to find out what is happening during your stay.

Everyone is welcome, whether you live in the area or are just passing through.
