Meet your instructors



Marie has been teaching the practice of yoga in the village for many years, running our long-standing weekly classes on Tuesday evenings.




Areeradh hails from Thailand, a country reknowned for its rich culture of yoga and meditation.  Since moving to nearby Bakewell with her family, she leads her weekly "Yoga for Wellbeing' classes on Wednesday evenings.

Yoga; an ancient practice combining physical and mental exercises with the power to strengthen the body and calm the mind. Our instructors are committed not just to your health, but to your wellbeing.  Young or old, overweight or fit, yoga is as empowering as it is health-giving. Don’t be intimidated by a lack of experience, yoga is for everyone. 

Tuesdays - 6:00-7:00pm with Marie

Wednesdays - 6:30-8:00pm with Areeradh

Need to know...

How to book:  Booking is not required, turn up 5min before start of class
Cost: Small fee per class (payment in cash on arrival)
What to bring: A foam mat, bottle of water and a smile
